The AME Fund

medical educators × from africa, for africa, in africa

We are excited for this year's #Run4theFund on Dec 29, 2018 in Long Beach, CA (and Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of Congo). Yes it is between Christmas and New Year's - the perfect way to keep in shape during the holiday cookie season.

The AME Fund: medical educators from, for, and in Africa.

The AME Fund founder and president, Carlan Wendler, recounts the story of Santiana, a young physician in Burundi who was inspired to do more for her own people after rotating at a rural hospital. The AME Fund exists to stably & sustainably support clinician-educators in remote regions of Africa.
